Sample Report

It is our goal at HI-OZ to make your home inspection as simple and understandable as possible. The sample report below will help give you some understanding of what our reporting process is like. We also explain in our inspection agreement what it is we do and what we don’t do. All our clients must read over the inspection agreement and sign off.

Sample Report

HI-OZ is all about the client: what the client wants the client gets. Generally, every client wants a product or service that solves their problem, can be relied on, saves time and is delivered with amazing customer service. Enjoy our sample report below..

HI-OZ has identified how to integrate the processes needed to give the consumer a sense of job completion. A product is easy to copy, but experiences are very hard to replicate.

Take the time and relax while you view our sample report. You be the judge whether or not the HomeGauge reporting software lives up to the claims stated above. Scroll to our contact page and give us some feed-back. Thanks.

Inspection Agreement

It is your contract between you (the home inspector) and your client (the person[s] for whom you are performing a property inspection). The agreement’s purpose is to protect both you and your client by setting correct inspection expectations, including services you’ll perform and the payment they’ll make

We recommend all our clients read our inspection agreement and understand what is being said.  We welcome any questions you may have.  It is our intention that any questions be answered before signing the agreement.

The purpose and scope of this inspection is to provide you with a better understanding of the property’s condition as observed at the time of the home inspection. It will include an inspection of: Structural Components, Exterior, Roofing, Garage, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, Central Air Conditioning, Interiors, Insulation, Ventilation and Fireplaces and Solid Burning Fuel Appliances.

What is the CRL (Create Request List) Feature?

Real Estate agents and customers can now create a Repair/Request list (or project list) directly from the inspection report and attach it to their repair addendum form!  This feature is easy to use and a time saver for the customer and agent as they create their list from the inspection report.  This creates a link between the customer and agent while working on the same Repair Request List!  We time stamp what requests were made and by whom. This reduces liability for the agent, buyer, and seller by establishing an ID and history in the creation of the document.

The Create Request List (CRL) feature from HomeGauge was designed for real estate agents and home buyers to use to collaboratively build a list of requests based on the findings in your inspection report.

The requests made are between the buyer, the seller and the agent(s). Real estate agents already create these request lists, CRL just makes the process faster, easier, and less prone to error. Home inspectors have never been part of this process and CRL does not change that. Home inspectors have never, and should never be involved in the real estate negotiation process.

With CRL there is less opportunity for the agent to misconstrue your findings with their interpretation of what you said. The agents are allowed to add their own comments and requests to the list, but your original inspection report comments and findings are always shown. You are the expert, and you are the one legally responsible for your findings. HomeGauge absolutely does not allow anyone to change your words.

CRL is a great marketing tool for you. Real estate agents love seeing they can create their request list directly from your report with CRL. It saves them time, effort, and standardizes everything for them.
